Fishing remains fantastic out of Milwaukee. I fished a short solo trip this morning from 4 a.m. till 6 a.m. The fish didn’t go right away for me but by 4:30 is was on!!! I set up in 80 FOW and worked out to almost 100FOW without a bump so I slid back in with all my fish coming from 70 to 80 FOW. Down 50’ I had 55 degrees with some colder water just outside. SWR’s with the std. Stinger Nitro Series in the Nitro Pox and Napalm patterns down 50 and 65 did most of the work; the blue bubble Spin Doctor with the Rapture Last Supper also seen some action on a wire diver out 151. The Nitro Pox was absolutely on fire taking fish 2 to 1 to both the other rigs. By 5:30 the action was already starting to slow for me this morning and gauging from the locator, those fish had retreated back to the colder water out on that 100’ line. The pattern should stay the same with a few more days of consistent weather. Also starting to see a few 4-yr olds changing; it is sad to think that we are already getting to that point in the season.
Best of Luck!!!
