Got out with Chris on the Strictly business for some morning brown trout before working on the Prove It II...first light bite was fantastic with the fish only allowing us to get 3-4 lines in the water. Smithwick rogues without weight and the Black Widow and green dolphin with 1/2 oz weights did the damage. Once the sun came up the bite slowed a bit, but after finding some fish relating to structure the bite heated up again. In the afternoon it was all Stingers with the silver/blue edge, orange killer, nuclear veggies and die hard producing the most browns. Afternoon rigs consisted of shallow run riggers, short cores and snap weights in front of spoons. A great morning for some catch and release brown trout action.
