Cut Bait Rigs

OK guys, I'll be the one to ask. Has anyone tried using "cut-bait" rigs for walleye ?

I know that the guys on the lakes on both sides of me (I'm on Lake Erie)
used "cut-bait" rigs for salmon and trout. But has anyone tried them for walleye?

Hello Shu,
No I've never tried cut bait rigs for walleyes, or flies. Usually if i run meat it's a nightcrawler. It would be worth trying with an imitation cut bait. Let me know if you run any this season and if it produces.

I am think that I will be trying both this year Ray. The flies and "gulp" cut bait.
I have been reading alot of good things about both of them. Will keep you informed. Bill.
